- Image of people praying at the Western Wall. Original caption, front: "Wailing place of the Jews Jerusalem, Palestine". Back: "Wailing place of the Jews Jerusalem, Palestine. This wall is the remnant of the Jewish Temple. Is just outside of the Mosque of Omar and is as near as any Jew will approach to the Temple Area. Here on any Friday evening may be seen the men and women weeping and reading their prayers. On a clear day asmany as 200 will assemble in this small court and beseech heaven to "Have Mercy on Zion".
