- Both Betty Buckley and Cleo Laine did not perform during this reading. The actress playing Drood is unidentified; Rupert Holmes performed the role of Princess Puffer. The lead vocals of "Don't quit while you're ahead" were performed by Jana Schneider. "The wages of sin", "The garden path of Hell" and "Puffer's revelation" lead vocals were performed by Rupert Holmes.
