Summary
This disc contains unedited excerpts from the presentation of the first Nellie Cornish Arts Achievement Award to Merce Cunningham. The event is hosted by Sergei P. Tschernisch, president of Cornish College of the Arts. The program also includes the announcement of a scholarship sponsored by Mikhail Baryshikov in honor of Merce Cunningham; Baryshnikov speaks briefly about working with Cunningham. Cunningham speaks about his experiences as a student at Cornish College and his memories of Nellie Cornish, the school's founder.
