- Description
- 1 portfolio.
- Summary
- Prints, clippings, and playbills, collected by Hiram Stead, documenting productions of several plays. Oliver Goldsmith's novel, The vicar of Wakefield, was adapted for the stage as a musical by James Sanderson and Thomas Dibdin, and as a non-musical play by Tom Taylor, and perhaps also by J. Stirling Coyne. Without examining the material, it is unclear which is represented here.
