American stage and film actor, playwright and social activist Ossie Davis discusses his career with interviewer Michall Jeffers. The emphasis is on Davis' role as Midge in the Broadway production of I'm not Rappaport, in which he replaced Cleavon Little to play opposite Hal Linden. Davis also discusses his 37-year marriage and working relationship with his wife Ruby Dee; and his play Purlie Victorious, which he wrote and in which he starred.
