[Begins abruptly.] Kathy Duncan speaks about her plans for the class [gap]; recommends various books on modern dance history, including Jill Johnston's The bride & the bachelors; Calvin Tompkins' five masters of the avant garde; the winter 1965 issue of the Toulane drama review (now called The drama review); Merle Armitage's Martha Graham; students read their reviews aloud [the students' voices are often unintelligible; gap from ca. 17:50 min. - 18:60], in each case followed by Duncan's and the students' comments [ends abruptly].
