Summary
This documentary follows Goat Island, a performance troupe based in Chicago, as they create the piece, "How Dear to Me the Hour When Daylight Dies." Interspersed with footage of performances, rehearsals and workshops, members of the company discuss their working process and style, a fusion of visual imagery, music, dance, movement and narration designed to evoke personal responses in individual members of their audiences. The film follows the company as they tour England for a series of residencies and performances.
