- The seven parts of the program present two of Morton Subotnick's latest compositions, All my hummingbirds have alibis, inspired by the collage novels of Max Ernst, and 5 scenes from an imaginary ballet, the first piece of music composed especially for CD-ROM. Audio commentary, textual explanations, and musical examples from Subotnick help you understand how and why he writes his music. Commentaries from the programmer and the recording engineer explain the technology behind the music.
