Summary
Anonymous caricatures, not listed in Mary Dorothy George, Catalogue of political and personal satires preserved in the Department of Prints and Drawings in the British Museum. Includes satires on dandies, fashion, first aid to animals, political parties, shaving and voting. No. 8 shows British redcoats breaking up a meeting in Ireland. Nos. 12 & 13 depict the comedian John Liston. Other individuals depicted include George IV, William IV and the fictional characters John Bull and Paul Pry.
