Summary
The IBW Roundtable with James and Grace Boggs features the Boggs discussing a wide variety of topics. Included are the labor movement in the late 1960's, changes in black society in recent decades, the necessity for blacks to maintain a sense of direction and to develop clear-cut objectives in their struggle for freedom, Black nationalism and United States nationalism, the duality of race and class and the challenges it presents to blacks, and the responsibilities of black intellectuals in black society. Vincent Harding discusses the beginnings of IBW, its ideas, objectives and relationship with the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Center.
