Summary
Etched book illustrations after designs by E. Boilvin, Carolus-Duran, Lucius Rossi and Jules Worms. Includes illustrations for Comtes rémois by the Count de Chevigné, Poésies by Francois Coppée and Sonnets et eaux-fortes. Subjects include beds, a clown, a knight, a mirror, an allegorical depiction of the moon, a parrot, a woman artist & scenes from the life of Mary, Queen of Scots, including an interior view of the Palace of Holyroodhouse. One allegorical design was intended for use as a bookplate. Some prints include remarques. Some prints are present in more than one state.
