  • Published in seventy parts, according to the final 'Address to the public.' in vol. 5.
  • Vol. 2 contains the case the Marquis of Carmarthen against the Marchioness of Carmarthen. The Marchioness, Amelia Osborne, ran away with John "Mad Jack" Byron, the father of the poet Lord Byron. Their union produced Augusta Leigh, who would in adulthood form an intimate friendship with her famous half-brother.
