- Raw interview footage used for the documentary Broadway, the American musical. Actress, dancer, writer and theater director June Havoc discusses her career. Topics include the "meaning" of Broadway to aspiring performers; current corporate influence on Broadway; her singing part in the Cole Porter musical Mexican hayride; the multiculturalism of Vaudeville and its audience; the musical as an expression of America; her experience as a child performer in Vaudeville, and her headlining performances as Baby June; the Depression and its impact on Vaudeville; her work during the Depression, including dancing in dance marathons; her tryouts and role in the musical Pal Joey, and views on writer John O'Hara, composers Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart, and director George Abbott; World War II and the theater; auditioning for George M. Cohan; the performer's dedication to performing as embodied in the phrase "the show must go on", and how she copes with injuries; the death of a musician during a performance of Mexican hayride; composer Cole Porter and the personal impact of his riding accident; her stage fright; the opening night of the musical Pal Joey and audience response to its "anti-hero". Interview concludes with 10 minutes of audio commentary by Havoc, concerning a performance of hers she watches on videotape.

- Broadway, the American musical, which aired on PBS in October 2004, is a documentary chronicling the entire history of a unique American art form, the Broadway musical. Each of its six episodes covers a different era in American theater history, and features the Broadway shows and songs which defined the period. The series draws on feature films, television broadcasts, archival news footage, original cast recordings, still photos, diaries, journals, first-person accounts, and on-camera interviews with many of the principals involved in the development of the genre.
