The panelists discuss Merce Cunningham's creative process and his collaboration with dancers in his company. Jonah Bokaer speaks about the development of his solo in Split sides; Banu Ogan speaks about the making of Ocean; Andrea Weber comments on learning new and revived works. Trevor Carlson and David Vaughan discuss Cunningham's use of computer software and choreographic notes to prepare his works, and his choice of music and decor for his works. The panelists discuss aspects of humanity and nature in Cunningham's choreography. The program ends with questions from the audience.
