Summary
Introduced by David White, this program presents two versions of Annie-B Parson's choreographic work City of brides, as well as a performance of Parson's work, Lucifer kicking. The 1994 original, set to Igor Stravinsky's score from Les Noces (The nuptials), was superseded by a second and final version in 1995 set to a score by composer Richard Einhorn. David White moderates panel discussions with Parson and Einhorn after each performance in which they discuss the process of creating City of brides, including its evolution from music by Stravinsky to music by Einhorn.
