Summary
Recording of a presentation by Seth B. Winner, sound engineer, including audio excerpts from the contents of the Arturo Toscanini Legacy Collection, housed at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, Rodgers and Hammerstein Archives of Recorded Sound. This program highlights excerpts of rehearsals as well as both broadcast and un-broadcast concerts. Comments on the works played are given between each excerpt, and there is a 12 minute question and answer period following the presentation.
