Features excerpts from his work, including stage pieces Largely New York, The regard of flight, Fool moon, The Harlequin studies, and Mr. Fox: a rumination. The clown tradition is examined, along with the influence of silent comedy on Irwin's work. Also includes interviews with Irwin himself as well as friends, colleagues and observers.
