Le tirage ... a été limité à 211 exemplaires. 1 exemplaire sur Japon impérial, no 1; 10 exemplaires sur vélin Madagascar, nos 2 à 11; 200 exemplaires sur vélin du Marais, nos 12 à 211"--Colophon. Copies 1-11 constitute an édition de tête, illustrated with a lithograph and 3 signed etchings; copies 12-211 are illustrated with the lithograph only.

• Sabatier erroneously states that all 211 copies contain the 3 etchings.
• Consists of 8 bifolia in 2- or 4-leaf gatherings (6 leaves are printed on both sides; first and last leaf are blank) and 3 etchings.
• Illustrations: full-page lithograph as frontispiece and 3 full-page etchings with aquatint (plate marks respectively 10.3 x 15 cm., 15.5 x 11 cm. and 11.8 x 17.5 cm.). Etchings are dated and signed in pencil: Matta 54.
