Summary
This documentary provides an in-depth look at the creation of the dances in Oliver Stone's 2004 feature film Alexander. Through interviews with the creators, the documentary follows the selection of a choreographer, the selection of dancers, the creation, rehearsal and filming of the two main dance scenes, the Roxane dance and the Bagoas dance. Finally, the interviewees discuss the role of dance in film, and the critical reception of Alexander.
