- "Zig-zag was printed in an edition of 40 copies by the fall 1988 typography students at Scripps College Press with the help of Professor Kitty Maryatt. The text type is 12 and 14 point Optima. The book is printed on Somerset Satin and is bound in archival museum board"--Colophon inside portfolio.
- Printed in gray on both sides of leaves accordion-folded with cut-outs, a mirror and a piece of openwork weaving, and affixed to foldable backing.
