  • "Colophon 120. Here, reader, is the one-hundred-twentieth step in the metaphysical transit toward effacement. These individual letters, designed by Hermann Zapf, were assembled as per the author's text. Many of these individuals most certainly were parts of the same author's words in "Sirventes ..." and in "Acts" 1967 and 1973. This crossed the typesetter's mind often. The illustrations are wood-engravings by Margaret Sunday, whose poetic imaging has given engine to both "Manhattan" and "Words of the Teacher. The edition is one-hundred-twenty-five copies printed on non-electric SP15 with non-PMS inks on/into Sakamoto and Kurotani from Aiko's. The binding is undetermined as of the writing, 20 May 1994" -- colophon, page 45.
