Entered by Evans among imprints for 1781; dated 1781 by Sabin and Wegelin. Edwin Wolf believes that this was printed upon Sower's death in 1784 by Leibert and Billmeyer, Sower's business successors in Germantown. Cf. Germantown and the Germans : an exhibition . . . from the collection of the Library Company of Philadelphia and the Historical Society of Pennsylvania. 1983. p. 103, no. 14.
Printed in gothic type, with letters of the acrostic in roman type. Another ed. is known, containing [8] p. (first and last blank), with letters of the acrostic in gothic type. Cf. Bötte & Tannhof, 561.
