Summary
Actress Elizabeth Ashley talks about her 40 years in the theater and her role in the Broadway play Enchanted April with co-hosts Susan Haskins and Michael Riedel. Ashley discusses Matthew Barber's adaptation of Enchanted April, based on the novel of the same name by Elizabeth von Arnim, about a group of women in post World War I England, her role as Mrs. Graves, and her accompanying cast. She speaks also about being an actress over the age of 60, her approach to acting, and the impact of receiving a Tony Award as a young woman for her first big Broadway part in the play Take her, she's mine, directed by George Abbott.
