- Summary
- This program begins with an introduction of Robert Hass and Czeslaw Milosz by Robert Pinsky. Hass and Milosz each read several of their poems, and then engage in a conversation about the representaton of objective reality in art, a subject that informed both a seminar organized by Hass and Milosz at the University of California-Berkeley, and a 1996 international anthology of poetry titled A book of lumious things, which was edited by Milosz. The program concludes with both poets once again reading selections of their own work.
