- Note
- Recording of lecture-demonstrations and commentary given by Douglas Dunn, Robert Dunn, Sara Shelton, and Carolyn Lord at The New School for Social Research in New York City on Oct. 16, 1973. This group of lecture-demonstrations is the second of four that were held between Oct. 9 and Oct. 30, 1973, part of the ChoreoConcerts and critiques series of lecture-demonstrations performed at The New School and sponsored by the Choreographers Theatre. Prior to the lecture-demonstrations, a tape is played of Douglas Dunn intoning thoughts about dancing and talking, followed by music. Robert Dunn and Sara Shelton each speaks about his or her new work while also demonstrating movements relating to the work. Their presentations are followed by a question and answer period with the audience. Carolyn Lord's lecture-demonstration is not part of the recording, but she speaks about her dance [Reflections on the French Revolution] in response to a question from the audience. Douglas Dunn also speaks further about his work Nevada in response to a question.
- The sound quality of the speakers overall is good. The sound quality of the questions from the audience is fair to poor.
- Side B is blank.
