(with coat-of-arms of the Fugger family and artist's monogram) and 205 illustrations (bits and bridles with accessories) after drawings by the author who followed the paintings of Filippo Ursoni (for the Mantua style and some other bits) and the designs of Veit Forster, or Dufft, his predecessor as stablemaster.--cf. pref.
  • Imperfect: sig. Qq(6) wanting; sig. Gg(2) slightly multilated.
  • Binding, 16th century German, of vellum, stamped and roll tooled in black, with oblong strap design in the center and ornaments, some painted in red and yellow; with gauffered edges, gilt and painted red. With stamped initials and date on front cover: O. V. V. 1589. With traces of two pair of ties.
