- A Protestant devotional work first published at Wittenberg in 1547, in quarto, with woodcuts by L. Cranach.
- Illustrations: 53 woodcuts (incl. repeats) mostly after Virgil Solis whose monogram appears on 11 of the larger cuts. The illustrations are for the most part reversed copies of those of the 1553 "Passio Unsers Herrn" (Ubisch, p. 33-36) and the undated "Symbolum der Heiligen Aposteln" (Ubisch, p. 33) which included several copied by Solis from Dürer woodcuts and engravings. Title within woodcut border of eight Bible scenes. Each page within border of four ornamental metalcuts, often repeated. Pictorial and ornamental initials. Publisher's device at end.
- Without the Passional, mentioned on the title page, which was a separate publication.
- Binding, 16th century German, of blind stamped while leater over wooded boards; with remains of clasps.
