- Comprises engraved t.p. and 7 numbered engravings (no. 1 signed by de Vos as designer) attributed by Alvin to one of the Wierix brothers. A. Collaert and H. Goltzius have also been suggested as engravers. The t.p. shows portrait busts of the three leaders in the capture of the Antwerp citadel in August 1577. The numbered engraving each consist of a circular scene with text below enclosed within an historiated border. Each border shows a different pair of allegorical female figures. The date 1577 which appears only on pl. 1 was apparently wrongly engraved as 1578 and changed to 1577.
- The text consists of eight lines of French verse (beginning: Troys Horaces Romains) on the t.p. and six lines of verse in French and Flemish on each of the other plates.
- Also issued with a later state of the t.p. with the added imprint: Amstelodami, Franciscus Hoeius excud.
