- Includes the Apostles' Creed, a phrase at a time, above the Apostle cuts or the facing verses.
- Illustration: 19 woodcuts, comprising title vignette (the risen Christ), full-page cut (St. Matthew the Evangelist with angel), 2 full-page cuts (Christ with orb), 13 full-page cuts (Apostles and St. Paul), small medallion portrait of Melanchthon and full-page cut (Last Judgment). The second Christ with orb, the Apostles and St. Paul are copies (half figures with slight changes and without background) of Lucas Cranach the elder's Apostle series. Heller describes a slightly different set of copies appearing, with apparently the same other cuts, in J. Agricola's 1562 work on the Apostles' Creed which was presumably published by Schnelboltz. Most pages within ornamental metalcut borders.
