- Illustrations: 11 engravings and etchings (7 fullpage) and 2 woodcuts (1 full-page), comprising 13 of the possible 25 illustrations of this work of which it is said that no two copies are exactly alike as to number and position of illustrations. In this copy there are 2 attributed to Francis Barlow, 2 copied from etchings by Wenceslaus Hollar and one each by Pierre Lombart (bound as frontispiece), Peregrine Lovell, Thomas Cecill and Martin Droeshout. For descriptions, cf. the Grolier, club list (21, 2-3, 3, 5, 12, 16-19, 22-24) and Jenkins' appendix iv (22, 2-3, 5, 8, 12, 17-20, 23-25). The Cecill and Droeshout plates are word-puzzles, the former dated 1632.
