Summary
In this program, Judith Chaffee, movement coach and theater professor at Boston University, presents a workshop with students on acting in period plays from the Restoration and Victorian eras. Using scenes from Man of Mode and The Importance of Being Earnest, she teaches students how to execute dances of the period; use such props as hats, canes, and daggers; and perform such movements as walking and sitting for each of the periods discussed. -- Insight Media Website.
