- Overgrown path, with choreography by Jirí Kylián; music by Leos Janácek, and scenery and costumes by Walter Nobbe, premiered in Scheveningen at the Circustheater, Nov. 13, 1980; Nederlands Dans Theater.
- After seeing a performance of Jiri Kylian's works at City Center in New York City, Antony Tudor told Mr. Kylian that he was carrying on his life's work. Flattered by the compliment, Jiri Kylian later dedicated Overgrown Path to Antony Tudor.
