- Summary
- Dorothy Gordon, a moderator and producer of NBC's radio program "The Youth Forum", first met Toscanini through a very good friend of hers, a Met contralto Sofie Braslow. She immediately impressed him with her fluent Italian, and after that he was always very friendly. She recalls some episodes that she witnessed during rehearsals that she attended and personal details such as maestro's teaching her an Italian lullaby that she always sang to her grand children and sang on the air.
