- Summary
- This program was presented in collaboration with the World Science Festival. An excerpt from Connoisseurs of chaos and a series of excerpts from the work-in-progress The elegant universe are interspersed with discussions of physics. Karole Armitage speaks about how her choreography was inspired by and reflects the ideas of relativity, quantum mechanics and string theory, drawn from the book The elegant universe by Brian Greene. Theoretical physicist Jim Gates gives a talk on Einstein's theory of special relativity and discusses the nature of science and its relationship to the arts.
