- Disc 1 (ca. 32 min.). Richard Buckle speaks with Don McDonagh about Martha Graham, and her tours in London; cancellation of Graham tour due to Graham's injury; meeting Graham for the first time; articles written about Graham in his position as staff dance critic of The Observer; Graham attending a dinner at his home; dining with Graham and Bethsabee de Rothschild in London. Don McDonagh and Buckle discuss mutual journalist friends; Graham and the Edinburgh Dance Festival.

Richard Buckle speaks with Don McDonagh about Martha Graham; reviewing journal entries of the time to reveal dates and engagements with Graham and friends; a boat party given by Robin Howard for Graham and her dancers; various articles written about Graham for the magazine, Ballet; dance companies and the need for strong choreography and talented dancers; color film footage taken of Graham in the 1950s [abrupt end].
