Burroughs in the period 1971-1973, the London photographs taken while residing at 8 Duke Street, St. James's, London; originally arranged in 34 groups (designated "folders")by Burroughs's biographer and friend Barry Miles, and annotated in pencil by him (save for one group of photos, folder 14, annotated by Berg Collection Curator, Isaac Gewirtz); photographs of or including Burroughs taken by his partner Johnny Brady; if Brady also in photo, if set in Greece then taken by poet Alan Ansen; photos in Tangier showing both Burroughs and Brady taken by unknown friend(s); with a history of the photographs and summary of each folder's contents by Miles; with several photographs of Burroughs by Miles; housed in three-ringed binder.
- Folder 1: Photos of trip to Greece, August 1973, during which Burroughs and then-partner Johnny Brady visited poet Alan Ansen in Athens in order to retrieve the letters that Burroughs had written to Allen Ginsberg in the 1950s; includes photos taken at a beach villa at Spetsai, following Athens visit (32 color prints, 41 black-and-white prints, 2 black-and-white duplicates).
- Folder 2: Photos of trip to Morocco (Tangier and Atlas Mountains) and of Jajouka musicians and companions Johnny Brady and Brion Gysin (24 color, plus 2 duplicates, and 30 black-and-white prints, plus 3 duplicates).
