Summary
Intermission features Nicola Moscona, a distinguished baritone who sang with Toscanini twenty eight times and whom the maestro liked very much. The singer shares a few memorable episodes from his relationship with Toscanini and calls him a great inspiration of his life. He says that maestro was not just the greatest conductor, but a stage director, a vocal teacher, a philosopher, and most of all, a wonderful human being. Toscanini for him was and remains "God of music on earth."
