- Summary
- This program examines the plight of runaway teenagers who survive on urban streets through prostitution, drug dealing and other illegal activities. Teenagers in New York City, Fort Lauderdale, and San Diego explain why they left home and the dangers they face living on their own. Social workers, shelter volunteers, and law enforcement officials describe the vulnerable position of these young people, whose high-risk behavior makes them susceptible to a range of illnesses including AIDS.
