- Summary
- A futuristic fable of feminist turmoil still fomenting after a "peaceful" socialist revolution. As the president enacts a Wages for Housework Law to keep women happily at home, unemployment, racism and sexual harassment belie his utopian claims. With their fury growing and peaceful options exhausted, women form a guerrilla movement to take over the media. Set in an imaginary New York, the film juxtaposes voices of the militant, moderate, black rap and punk cool to suggest the divisiveness of the women's movement. (Circulates)
