- Summary
- Internationally-known ethnic dancer, Chuck Davis and his troupe visit West Africa performing in the villages and suburban compounds of Senegal and Gambia. The film presents a portrait of African life and dance and focuses on three ethnic groups, the Wolof, Mandinka and Diola in the different regions of Senegambia. It concludes with a performance in the U.S. by Davis and members of his integrated company, the African American Dance Ensemble.
