- Summary
- Animation is used to tell a Japanese fairy tale about an elderly couple who rescue a crane trapped on a snow-covered mountain. As a reward for their kindness, the crane, in the form of a lovely girl, weaves a beautiful cloth for them. She becomes thinner with each weaving because she uses her own feathers to make the cloth. When her secret is discovered, she flies away into the snow.
