Uses a variety of cinematic techniques to illustrate types of personal and impersonal communication based on the conceptual framework devised by Claude Shannon, which includes an information source, coding transmission channel, receiver, decoder and destination. The importance of the past experiences of the recipient determines the meanings accepted in communications.
