- Summary
- In this animated adaptation, Danny visits the museum where he sees the dinosaurs with whom he would love to play. One of the huge creatures comes alive to grant his request and together they spend a fun-filled day. Taking Danny for a ride on his massive back, the dinosaur frightens policemen, gets entangled in a clothesline, attempts to climb a tall building, and acts as a bridge for harried commuters. He and Danny attend a ballgame, swim in the river, eat ice cream, and go to the zoo. The prehistoric animal gives Danny's friends a ride around the block and learns to play hide-and-seek. Having to return to the museum, the dinosaur bids farewell to his new friends and declares that this was the best time he's had in 100 million years.
