Summary
A live satellite performance links New York, Paris and two museums, the Whitney and the Centre Georges Pompidou. Two artists interpret Roland Barthes' "A Discourse on Love." As they perform, the audience responds to their trans-Atlantic dialogue. The interplay between real time and taped action is explored. Introduction by John Hanhardt, Curator of Film and Video at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
