- Description
- 1 videocassette (108 min.) : sd. b&w.; 1/2 in.
- Summary
- Based on a French detective novel, this film pays homage to American gangster films of the 1930's and 40's. This intricate thriller concerns the fatalistic relationship of two men, Maurice, a thief just out of prison, and Silien, a mysterious informer embroiled in the complexities of the criminal underworld and the police. In the tradition of film noir, the film is characterized by double and triple crosses, beautiful women and a sinister vision of the world in which appearances are deceptive.
