- An example of avant-garde cinema, this prelude to a long four-part work is composed of multi-level superimpositions and rapid flashes of images and themes which appear in the longer work. These are: elements of earth, air, fire and water; a man climbing a snowy mountain with his dog; love making; the moon and the sun; childbirth; a beating heart; the faces of a man and woman.
