- Description
- 1 videocassette (30 min.) : sd. col.; 1/2 in.
- Summary
- "This is a glimpse of a video landscape of tomorrow, when you will be able to switch to any TV station on earth and TV Guides will be as fat as the Manhattan telephone book." Described as a "video collage," this early video work by a pioneer video artist offers a wide range of images, effects, film clips and music at a dizzying pace. Among the participants are Charlotte Moorman playing her TV Cello in duet with Alan Schulman; Allen Ginsberg; John Cage; a Korean dancer; a Navajo woman beating a drum; and American girls dancing to rock and roll classics. This fanciful approximation of channel-switching in the years ahead predicts the kinds of international programming that will be available to viewers.(This tape is also available in 3/4 in. format).
