- Summary
- The longest straight run in the world exists on the Nullarbor Plain in Australia. It consists of 297 miles of railroad without a curve. Playwright/journalist Michael Frayn guides the viewer on a tour of Australia's spectacular vistas. He traces the Australian dream of a transcontinental railroad and takes a ride on the antique Ghan train at a top speed of 17 miles per hour.
