Summary
Henry, a shy, awkward fifth-grader, is afraid of girls, avoids sports and is hounded by class bullies Leslie and Tom. The situation changes when newcomer Brian arrives in class and replaces Henry as the object of ridicule. Henry succumbs to peer pressure when he joins the other children in teasing Brian. After a series of surprising events in gym class, Henry's true character prevails. He tries to boost Brian's confidence by falling on purpose to allow Brian to win a track race. In the end, Brian stands up to Tom's insults.
