- Summary
- This dramatization chronicles the heroism of Harriet Tubman, runaway slave and one of the most daring "conductors" of the Underground Railroad. It focuses on Tubman's perilous rescue of family members from bondage in Maryland to freedom in the North. Known as the "Moses of Her People," Tubman returned to Maryland nineteen times and aided in the escape of three hundred slaves.
